September 25th Community Celebration - Thank you!
We Are Community!
Thank you to everyone who came out to
help us celebrate, our volunteers and
to all our event sponsors & donors.
On Monday, September 25, 2017 Friends of Silver Creek School, Silver Creek Pre-School and The Etobicoke Children's Centre hosted a Community Celebration to commemorate the decision announced on April 4, 2017 that Silver Creek School and the attached green space are in process of being transferred to the province.
This decision will ensure that both programs for children with special needs, mental health needs and autism will remain on-site.
In addition to celebrating this remarkable and momentous decision we want to thank everyone who helped make this happen - parents, families, educators, community members and elected officials.
